RAVA LADOO

RAVA LADOO

TIME: 30MIN

INGREDIENTS: 1bowl rava, 1and 1/4bowl powdered sugar, 1/2bowl grated coconut, 15-20almonds ,20-25raisins, 1tbsp ghee, 5-6 cardimom, 2-3tsp milk.
METHOD:
1. Sieve and clean rava put it in closed tiffin/container and steam it in the cooker [on the grid] to 9-10 whistle.
2. 2. Grate coconut ,grind sugar and cardamom ,chop almonds ,add raisins and mix all these with the steamed rava properly.
3.Add ghee and sprinkle very little milk and make ladoos.
TIPS:
1. Very simple yet nutritious.
2. You can also add other dry fruits like cashewnuts depending on the season as cashewnuts are hot.

    Thanks again for giving one more simple & nutritious dish.I will try to make ur rava laddoo,bt m having one confusion about,which tiffin box should b used??whether it should b steel or plastic?? & how much water should b added or nt to b added in tat rava,b4 putting it in the cooker.

    Another confusion is whether I should put some water at the bottom of d cooker or jst putting water in d tiffin box will do??plz let me knw how to do all this,and I will b very thankfull to you..
    As m very eager to make this dish,plz snd your reply soon..

  2. 1.never use plastic things on the flame or while cooking or in the cooker or on the gas.
    2.always put water in the cooker while cooking anything in the cooker.
    3.tiffin means anything u can use but cover it with the plate so that no water from the cooker should enter rava while cooking.
    4.dont put any water in the tiffin only dry rava to b used.
